Introducing the Maya mug, your new partner-in-crime for all your caffeinated adventures. Handmade with a peppered speckle clay, this mug boasts a delightful blue shade that's guaranteed to make your morning brew taste extra special. It's the perfect vessel to hold your liquid motivation, with its generous 330ml capacity it will keep you fuelled and ready to conquer the day.

Our Maya Mug is Ø9cm x 8cm high and 13cm wide when you include the handle, it has an organic wabi-sabi shape with a drippy layered glaze. It's made from stoneware, with a clay sourced from far North East Thailand, and then it's fired to extremely high temperatures for over 12 hours (twice!). Making this piece very durable and fully vitrified (a fancy way of saying it won't absorb food and colour).

The Maya collection is handmade by a female studio in North East Thailand, using slip casts, wheels, jiggers and jolly's. Its hand glazed and hand trimmed so variation should be expected. Dishwasher SafeMicrowave safe and Oven proof, talk about a triple threat!

Momentum is everything

We use muscle memory to make, shape and mould in a centrifugal dance where tiny movements matter. A frictional force of push and pull, the plate your purchase is the meeting place of maker and mud. Palinopsia turns clay into everyday objects.

Planet to Plate

What we do and don’t do matters. In constant conversation, we continue to modify our environmental and social influence from design to delivery. And our people and partners are all-in, in terms of responsible trading, recycling resources, reducing plastic and waste. Always innovating, brainstorming and tweaking to make strides in sustainability and durability, we take a planet perspective.
